Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your LuminFin account and all associated data. Deletion is immediate, complete, and cannot be undone.

LuminFin stores your account and profile locally on your own device only. We do not operate a server-side database of user accounts, so there is no copy of your account held by us that requires a deletion request. Deleting your data on your device removes it entirely.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app (recommended)

Open LuminFin and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Confirm. Your account, sign-in details, investment profile, watchlists, and cached reports are permanently erased from the device.

Option 2 — Uninstall the app

Uninstalling LuminFin, or clearing its storage in your device's app settings, also removes all locally stored data — your account, profile, and preferences — completely and permanently.

What is deleted

All data associated with your account: your name, email address, password, age, occupation, risk tolerance, goals, selected markets and sectors, investment amount, watchlists, and any cached AI reports. Because this data exists only on your device, deletion leaves no residual copy anywhere.

What is retained

Nothing. LuminFin retains no personal data after deletion. AI chat prompts sent during use are processed transiently to generate responses and are not stored by us as user records.
